Chelsea Groton Bank is pleased to announce the recipients of its annual scholarships, which totaled $13,200. Fourteen area students demonstrated their academic merit, as well as strong moral and ethical character traits. All will continue their education at institutions of higher education or vocational training.

Stephanie Foshay of the Academy of the Holy Family, Nicola Brooks of East Lyme High School, Taryn Renfors and Bettina House of Fitch High School, Danielle Courtina of Grasso Regional Vocational Technical School, Katelyn Woodhouse of New London High School, Jeffrey Hauschild of Norwich Free Academy, Ryan Wilson of Norwich Vocational Technical School, Annora Brennan, David Lynch, Shiva Iyer, Sarah McGuire, and Kyle Cheromcha of Waterford High School, and Kim Sears of Wheeler High School shared in the total that was awarded.
