Chris Butta is a Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer Inc. Butta is an active participant in Pfizer's SAM JAM program, which aims to generate interest in math and science among middle school students.
Despite her heavy workload, Chris has been able to make significant contributions to our community. She works as a volunteer for Care and Share Soup Kitchen, serving more than 200 meals per week. Chris is also an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of New London, often spending her weekends framing homes or installing siding.
A dynamic member of the Noank Baptist Church, Chris organizes coffee hour for congregation members. She also volunteers to transport a fellow church member to and from service. Upon discovering that this man, who suffers from severe health problems, has no family, Chris volunteered to be his medical guardian.
Serving as a role model for younger generations, Butta shows the importance of being an engaged citizen. Chris's active involvement in a variety of charitable organizations greatly benefits the community in which we all live, work and play.
