A true Community Champion, Chance Martin Sr. is a retired Corrections Officer. Three years ago, he began volunteering his time as an Assistant Football Coach at Norwich Free Academy. During the 2009 season, he coached the freshman team to an undefeated season. Martin is now an Assistant Coach for the varsity team. He also runs an off-season weight training program for players, volunteering three hours of his time every afternoon to help players maintain their fitness throughout the year. Martin is known for his dedication to his players and willingness to help them achieve their goals.
