We’re committed to evolving the branch experience to better meet the needs of our customers by increasing branch hours, cross-training team members, offering more value-add products and services, and expanding our commitment to the community through education, volunteerism and sponsorships. And now, with our new Switch Hotline, we’re making it easier than ever to switch banks.
If you’re new to the area, your bank is moving, or you're interested in experiencing more from your bank, consider Chelsea Groton. Here's how to get started:
- Visit any of our full service branches conveniently located in Southeastern Connecticut to discuss your needs, goals and products options. Or, call our dedicated Switch Hotline at 860-448-4195 (Monday – Friday: 8am – 7pm, Saturday: 9am – 1pm) to have a similar discussion and complete most of the set-up over the phone.
- If you use the Switch Hotline, you will be asked to visit the branch most convenient for you within 5 business days in order to meet in person, sign the agreement and fund the account(s).
- Once your account is set-up, be sure to review your old statement for any outstanding automatic payments or withdrawals that you had set-up.
- After all scheduled payments, checks, and transactions have cleared, set up the same automatic payments in our Online Banking system. Move your remaining balances into your new Chelsea Groton account, and close your old account.
