Chelsea Groton Bank Names Renee Simao Customer Solutions Manager in Norwichtown
Renee Simao of Stonington, CT, has been named Customer Solutions Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank’s Norwichtown branch. Cindy Harris, Renee’s predecessor, recently retired after 37 years of serving the Bank’s customers and community.
“Renee comes to us with 12 years of banking experience. She is a strong leader and is passionate about helping members of the Bank, and her team members, achieve their goals,” shared Lori Dufficy, EVP, Director of Sales and Service at Chelsea Groton Bank. “We’re confident that Renee will be an asset to the members of the Bank, the community, and her new team.”
Renee previously worked for Berkshire Bank (formerly Savings Institute Bank and Trust, Newport Fed) in numerous positions, most recently in branch administration and talent recruitment and training. She was named to the list of “40 Brightest Stars of Southern RI” by the Westerly/Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce.
Renee is actively involved in the local community. She currently serves on the board of the Stonington Youth Lacrosse League and is a member of the Young Professionals of Eastern Connecticut (YPECT) and Norwich Chamber of Commerce. Renee previously served on the board of Westerly Stand Up For Animals, RI Lions Child with Cancer Foundation, Misquamicut Business Association, Stonington Youth Football League, and the Westerly/Pawcatuck Young Professional Network and was a former member of the Westerly RI Lions Club and Fresh Connections.
