I have over 20 years of experience in keeping my finger on the pulse of the unique challenges my business clients face in an ever-changing environment.  My goal is to simplify their day-to-day operations to allow them to achieve their business goals through our dedicated banking solutions.  I take the time to listen, understand and then provide trusted expert advice around commercial lending, real estate loans/construction financing, SBA financing or working capital lines of credit.  I have clients throughout Connecticut and my expertise reaches various industries from real estate developers, to medical, to the first indoor pickleball court in Central Connecticut. A Little About Michael Hawes

I have lived in Connecticut my entire life and now reside in Oxford with my wife and 2 young daughters.  I enjoy spending the summers in Cornfield Point and coaching my girls in both soccer and basketball throughout the year.  I am currently on the Board of Directors for the Oxford Soccer League but also dedicate my time raising money with my family for such causes as Cancer Research, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and ALS. I graduated with a degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and Business from the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus and obtained various credit certifications over the years through the RMA L.O.R.S. and CBA courses. I also have a passion for financial education, becoming a Certified Financial Education Instructor from the NFEC in 2020 and provided various classes from credit, retirement, student lending and small business throughout the United States.
