Jeff Frenette Joins Chelsea Groton as Senior Vice President, Director of Technology
Chelsea Groton Bank is pleased to announce that Jeff Frenette has joined its team as Senior Vice President, Director of Technology. Frenette will manage the bank’s technology resources including personnel, network infrastructure, systems, telecommunications, hardware and software, all to support the bank’s mission of providing extraordinary customer service.

Before joining Chelsea Groton, Frenette was with Washington Trust, where he began his banking career in 1987. He most recently served there as Senior Vice President, Director of Core Applications. In addition, he was responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley technology controls throughout the organization as well as company-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
Frenette earned his Bachelor’s degree from Johnson and Wales University, and resides in North Stonington with his wife, Beth.
