Chelsea Groton Bank provides $3.5 million in financing to Eugene O’Neill Theater Center
GROTON, Conn. (March 3, 2014) – The commercial lending group at Chelsea Groton Bank recently provided $3.5 million in financing to Eugene O’Neill Theater Center to build new facilities accommodating an expansion of its National Theater Institute at the O’Neill’s 305 Great Neck Road, Waterford campus. The project will include construction of additional housing, rehearsal and performance space, and provide for renovation of existing facilities. The new NTI program will focus on musical theater training for undergraduates, providing a one semester intensive in all elements – acting, voice, choreography, direction, dance, and design, and will be unique in the nation.
